Spring is HERE!

Spring is here. Hopefully the rain will be a little less frequent and the sun will be shining on us all.

The topic everyone wants to talk about when they know you are a Realtor is "How's business"? Well business is good! Carolina Farms and Homes has always been a trendsetter in marketing and sales of rural properties. So, we are busy.

A lot of my business has always been people looking to relocate from other areas to NC. They want to be close - within 30 minutes or so of Winston-Salem with its shopping and entertainment venues - so King is the perfect distance to have it all. People still want to live in the country and retreat to a simpler way of life.

Its a Brand New Year

A New Year is here and everyone is asking "How's the Market?" Well, at least my experience for the last couple of weeks is "It's busy". I've had lots of contacts from areas outside NC interested in relocating to our area. In addition, I've had sellers interested in putting their properties on the market. Any situation is what we make it. I've decided to make it a GREAT market! Anyone want to join me in making it happen?

Is NC Real Estate Still Appreciating???

Real Estate across the country is in decline. Even in North Carolina which is viewed by most of the Real Estate experts as the best place to buy real estate today there are pockets of depreciation. Having said that, its important to note that most of NC is appreciating even still and in some areas such as Charlotte, Raleigh Durham and Ashville NC they are appreciating as fast as ever anywhere from 3% to 8%. This is due to in part the stable rates of appreciation NC has experiences for the last 30+ years. Not experiencing the crazy hyper appreciation that other states have gone thru and because of the stable business climate.
